Question 1: Based on the information in chapter 6, would you prefer to teach in a classroom that had more or less digital technologies? Why or why not?
I would prefer to teach in a classroom with more technology because the greater number of methods I have to teach students the more students I will reach. By using utilizing technology students can work at their own pace on projects at my discretion. If a student is ahead in class they can use an ipod to further their learning and get ahead of the class using math problems from advanced sections in the class.

Question 2: For both audio and visual technologies, identify one traditional and one emerging technology from the book, and explain how you could potentially use all four devices in the classroom. Post your responses on your blog page you created for this class.
I would use traditional audiobooks for my students who could move ahead in class because they can learn from hearing and reading on their own and move ahead in the class while the students who need the attention will be able to receive it. The emerging technology I would use for audio would be internet radio because some students like to hear music while they work and the sound can be beneficial to their creativity.
visually I would use a traditional overhead projector as the best method for a math class and transferring graphs to a board for visual aid. Also I would use the ipod as my newer tech because of its numerous uses in every subject area for individual and collaberative work.

My name is Michael Lemmon, I am currently enrolled at Bowling Green taking courses towards a degree in Middle Childhood Education. I am 25 years old and married. I also have 2 children my oldest is Alan he is 4 and my daughter Alexandria (Lexie) is 1. My wife works for K&W distributing in Clyde, OH. I spent 5 years in the military and was deployed to the Iraq area before I was discharged. I spent 3 years in Washington DC as a member of the Navy Honor Guard. I took part in the State Dinner at the White House for the Queen of England. My picture is in her biography "A Year with the Queen". I have quite a work load with 6 classes and my kids along with house work and family time. My concentration areas for teaching are Social Studies and Math. My main interests are my family, history and all kinds of sports.
